During the long searching and investigating over the years, one the best prime sources of information have been electoral rolls. Whilst they do come up with evidence of where a person lived during a given year we can only hope the people involved have maintained a reasonable "up to date" register. In the case of John Little it appears to have been the case, with other items of information cross checking the dates available.

Electoral Rolls are held on film reels holding multiple records of various electoral areas and and in some reels several years, it can be a very time consuming task. During the 1800's farming and grazing was very labour intensive with a great number of employees living on the stations, either close by the main homestead or in outlying huts or cottages. Conscequently on some properties that were of considerable size and on main "trade" routes, as was the case with "Curraweena" and "Glen Arif", there were large numbers of registered voters, and obviously there were possibly quite a number who were either under-age or who had not bothered to register. Small hotels or Cobb & Co relay stations were also often located on the large stations accounting for more voters. Voters from other outlying areas also

Below I have listed the names, localities and years found of the people I have noted during my long search journey. One particular list gave me a link from Glen Arif to Yabtree in the name MacKay, who I found later to be the brother of John Little's brother-in-law.
